Amanda Bossard graduated from high school in 1992 and began an education in marine science at the Alaska Pacific University, Anchorage. Bossard started her journey in the industry of commercial seafood in 1999. In that year, she worked in Murat Aritan's 65-foot halibut vessel, transformed into a fish tender. Bossard married Aritan in 1999, and the pair have come together to defend their businesses. Both of them are in favour of conserving resources as well as maximizing the profits. In 2007, the mother of two children Bella age three and Andre 1 Bossard before returning to her home in Philadelphia and opened an online direct wholesale distribution of seafood called Otolith. Her husband has a long career in the fishing industry that often means they stay apart for five months or longer. This is when they're focusing on their financial and environment objectives.
